Hey everyone,

Well here we are, just a couple of days before Christmas and as I sit down to write this, I can’t help but feel pleased with how the season has gone so far.

2022 has been a crazy year for me coming back to senior hockey and moving to Leeds, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Since the start of the season the boys have bought into what we have set out to achieve so far, but everyone in the room is aware the job is no-where near finished.

We’ve got an exciting Cup Semi Final on the horizon and we know we’re in a title fight with MK & Peterborough. We might not be top at Christmas, but all that matters is, who’s top by the end of the season.

I thought we had a good result against a hard-working team in the Bees last weekend. They came with a game plan and executed it well.

The festive season will be important for us, we’ve got four Yorkshire derbies and Hull in particular have really turned a corner with Themar arriving and Svec back on the ice.

It’s going to be four exciting games of hockey and I hope as many of you can support us as possible over the Christmas break.

I’d like to thank you all for the warm welcome to The Castle this year, and wish you all a Happy and Healthy Christmas.
