Hey everyone,

Last weekend probably wasn’t a weekend we were expecting. Last time we played Bristol it was one of our toughest games of the season and we knew we had a tough weekend on our hands.

I thought over the two games we were brilliant, to score 17 goals and only concede the 1 shows our offensive capabilities and our defensive responsibilities as well. For our first full weekend of 2023 I was happy with our showings.

Looking ahead to this weekend our attention turns to another really tough double-header against the Peterborough Phantoms. They’ve arguably got one of the deepest rosters in the National League this year and we’ll have a real test on our hands.

Their top guys can shoot the puck from anywhere and they’ve got a wealth of experience on the ice as well as Slava off the ice.

They’re with us in the top 3 and these games will be crucial in deciding where the league title goes at the end of the season.

The noise levels in the Castle were brilliant last week and the numbers of tickets sold is already showing it’ll be another packed out building this weekend.
