Hockey is closer to coming back to Yorkshire after the Leeds Knights have secured an extra set of pre-season games on the weekend of 4^th/5^th September.

This weekend sees us take on Aaron Nell and the Swindon Wildcats. On the Saturday evening we hit the road to Wiltshire for a 6:30PM face-off before returning to Elland Road on Sunday for the return fixture which will be a 5:15PM face-off.

With challenge games already confirmed with Sheffield and Telford, these games against the Wildcats will be a good test for us to kick off the 21/22 campaign.

Head Coach Dave Whistle was eager to see his Knights hit the ice for the first time:

I’m really looking forward to playing these games. It’s been a long time since the players and myself have been involved in league games.

It will give us a good idea where we are at the moment and what we need to work on.

After not playing since early 2020 the Knights cannot wait to get back into action and we hope you’ll all be there to support us on the Sunday evening.
