Leeds Knights Covid 19 Update
As the first challenge games is this Sunday, we want to re-assure our fans with regards to Covid-19 and some of the protocols we will have in place when you return to Planet Ice Leeds.
We want everyone attending our games to feel safe in the arena, and with some of the measures we’re putting in place we hope you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the Knights experience.
Tickets:
The safest way to purchase your tickets and minimize contact with others is to buy online before you leave home. Our ticket system ensures you’ll be emailed instantly with your ticket and all you need to do on the door is show the bar code. If you’re unable to buy online, then the ticket office will still be open for purchases on matchday.
Arrival:
You will not be able to enter the arena before the times listed below. When you do enter, we would ask you to avoid gatherings in other areas around the rink. If you do arrive before your entry time, you will be asked to wait outside under the front entrance.
Entry Point:
Season Ticket Holders & fans who bought online will be able to enter through the left entrance door from 4:15pm.
Walk-ins will need to enter through the right entrance door and will be grated entry from 4:15pm.
Competitions:
Our match night 50/50 & Shirt Off The Back sellers will have additional contactless machines for you to purchase competition tickets with. They will accept cash, but the contactless machines will allow you pay in a contact free if you would prefer it.
Sanitizing Stations:
Throughout the arena, there will be hand sanitizing stations for you to use and we would encourage you all to make use of these on your way to your seats, and throughout the evening.
Catering:
Catering will open as normal and available to fans throughout the game.
Vaccination:
There will be no requirement to provide a negative test or provide proof of vaccination to enter the arena as it is not a government requirement. We would like it to be as safe as possible when attending games, if you can take a voluntary Lateral Flow Test before attending that would be appreciated.
Face Coverings:
Face-masks will not be required as per government guidelines but we would ask all fans to remain respectful of other people’s decisions regarding wearing face coverings or not, as well as being respectful of others when walking around the arena.
It goes without saying, please do not visit us if you….
• Feel unwell with any of the Covid-19 Symptoms
• Have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10 days
• Have been identified as a close contact of a positive case and asked to self-isolate by NHS
We know everyone is excited and we hope all our fans will enjoy being back at the rink, but we all have a part to play in the fight against Covid-19, if we all remain sensible and follow the protocols in place we hope you all enjoy Knights ice hockey.
