National Cup Final Dates Announced!
The Morley Glass Leeds Knights are delighted to confirm the dates for the eagerly anticipated Cup Final against the Peterborough Phantoms coming to the Castle in March.
On Friday 17th March we make the trip to Peterborough for the first leg of the final before a week later on Friday 24th March, the second and decisive leg of the final will be at the Castle.
Face-off for both legs will be 7:30PM.
After coming through a tense semi-final with Sheffield the Knights are excited to battle it out with the Phantoms.
In the other semi-final the Peterborough Phantoms held on to narrowly defeat the MK Lightning and secure their place in the final.
Head Coach Ryan Aldridge is proud of the team for getting to their second final in as many seasons – ” I couldn’t be more proud of the group we’ve got here in Leeds and their performances throughout the season so far. It would be nice for all of their hardwork if we could pick up some silverware in March. We’ve gone head to head with Peterborough all season long, and I think we match up pretty evenly as our past results show, so it should be two exciting games of hockey!”
Tickets will go on sale on soon for both legs and the Knights are also pleased to be confirming their stream will also be available for Phantoms fans unable to make the trip and other fans of the National League who want to watch Friday Night Final Hockey.
The support of the Knights fans has been superb all year so let’s fill the rink up one more time in the cup and cheer the boys on with some silverware on the line!
