A season to remember: Leeds Knights deliver record-breaking 2025/26 campaign
From sold-out play-off nights to a surge in new season ticket holders, the Morley Glass Leeds Knights have set new benchmarks on and off the ice.
The 2025/26 season will be remembered as one of the most successful in Leeds Knights history. A play-off championship, record-breaking attendance figures, and a wave of new fans through the doors, the Leeds Knights didn't just meet expectations this season, they surpassed them in every measurable way.
Across the full campaign, the arena averaged an impressive 86% occupancy, a figure that tells its own story. But the momentum built as the season progressed, with post-Christmas attendances climbing to 90%, reflecting the growing excitement around the team's title push. By the time the play-offs arrived, the atmosphere had reached new heights, with attendance records broken across the group stages at home as fans packed the Castle to witness history.
Ryan Alrdridge, Head Coach said “The atmosphere in the building during the play-offs was something special. It is what happens when a team and its fans grow together over time. We had games where we were short-benched, but the energy from the crowd carried us through and helped us get over the line. To finish it off by going to Coventry and lifting the trophy made it even more memorable.”
