Netminders Daniel Norton and Ollie Booth Sign with Leeds Knights for 2025/26 Season
The Morley Glass Leeds Knights are pleased to confirm that netminders Daniel Norton and Ollie Booth have signed with the club for the 2025/26 NIHL National League season.
Daniel Norton returns to the Knights fold having spent last season developing with Leeds Knights 2, gaining valuable game time and continuing his progression within the organisation.
Joining Daniel between the pipes is Ollie Booth, who signs with the Knights having been part of the Milton Keynes Lightning set-up during the 2024/25 campaign.
Both Daniel and Ollie will be eligible to ice for both Leeds Knights and Leeds Knights 2 throughout the 2025/26 season, offering flexibility and development opportunities as the club continues to build a pathway between the two sides.
Head Coach Ryan Aldridge said: “I am very happy to have these two hard working talented young men join this unique tandem role. Both players will flip flop between starting at Knights 2 and backing up Gossy. So, when they are not getting valuable ice at our Knights 2 team they can watch and learn for Gossy. Ollie skated with us two years ago and I was always impressed with his work rate. He has improved since being away for a year and can’t wait to have him back. Dan was with us last year and again like Ollie was great both on and off the ice and played some great games for the Knights 2 team.”
Leeds Knights are committed to developing talent from within and providing opportunities for young players to grow into senior roles. The addition of Norton and Booth strengthens the club’s depth at netminder and sets the tone for a competitive, ambitious campaign ahead.
