Danny Harrison and Daragh Spawforth Return to Leeds Knights for 2025/26 Season

The Morley Glass Leeds Knights are excited to announce that both Danny Harrison and Daragh Spawforth will be returning to the club for the upcoming 2025/26 NIHL National season.

The talented young duo will once again split their time between the Leeds Knights and Leeds Knights 2, continuing their development with vital ice time at both levels. Their return strengthens the club’s depth and reinforces the Knights' long-term vision of developing and nurturing young British talent through the Knights' pathway system.

Harrison and Spawforth both made positive strides in their 2024/25 campaigns and will be looking to build on that experience as they continue to develop under Head Coach Ryan Aldridge and the senior leadership group.

Head Coach Ryan Aldridge expressed his delight in retaining the pair:

“Both players have very bright futures, and we are happy that we get to play a part in that. Along with Edgars and Jonas we have to look at the future of the Knights and the development of these young men. I believe that winning comes in cycles, the investment in their development will help with the current cycle or puts us in a good position to start another cycle in the near future. We are very lucky to have young local talented guys that all bring different things in their game and all play different positions.”

With their return, Leeds Knights continue to strengthen their roster with a blend of youth, potential, and passion that will drive the team forward in 2025/26.
