Leeds Knights Sign Defenceman Sam Dunn for 2025/26 Season

The Morley Glass Leeds Knights are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian defenceman Sam Dunn for the 2025/26 NIHL season.

The 26-year-old blueliner joins the Knights following two seasons in France with Anglet in the Ligue Magnus, where he established himself as a reliable two-way presence and key contributor at both ends of the ice.

Before his time in Europe, Dunn spent four seasons competing in USports with Saint Mary’s University, developing his game against some of Canada’s top university talent while earning a reputation for his poise on the puck and smart defensive play.

Knights Head Coach Ryan Aldridge said:

“It’s great to have Sam with us. It’s been a tough couple of weeks here, both on and off the ice, and I am confident we have got the right guy to replace Matt. Sam is solid defensively and will add to our offence.  I am sure he will have an instant impact in our lineup both on the ice and in the room.”

Welcome to Leeds, Sam!
