Leeds Knights produced a dominant display in this league fixture against the Bristol Pitbulls securing a 7-0 shutout victory on the road. Kieran Brown stole the show on his return to action with a hat trick.


 


Period 1: Leeds get out to a fast start


 


Leeds Knights started the game hot and it was captain Kieran Brown scoring the first goal just 02:28 into the first period. Leeds were awarded a penalty shot which Matt Barron converted on 13:01 to make it 2-0 and less than 2 minutes later Barron fired in his 2nd and Leeds’ 3rd timed at 14:46 to complete a great first period for Leeds.


 


Period 2: Leeds continue their dominance


 


Leeds started the 2nd period even hotter than the first scoring at 21:37, this time it was Mac Howlett on the scoresheet assisted by Noah McMullin and Bow Neely. With Leeds on the power play, Kieran Brown got his 2nd goal of the night at 24:23 to give Leeds a comfortable lead at the end of the 2nd period.


 


Period 3: Another fast start


 


Goals in the opening minutes of the period was a theme that continued into the 3rd period as Kieran Brown completed his hat trick at 41:09. Ethan Hehir rounded out the victory with a goal at 56:20 bringing the final score to 7-0.


 


A great all round performance from the Knights saw them clinical on offence and composed on defence seeing them take a big victory. Harrison Walker got the start at netminder and a great display saw him earn a shutout.

The Knights continued their great early season form with another victory. Kieran Brown seamlessly returned to the side with a hat trick and a man of the match performance while defensively they picked up their first shutout of the season.
