Last week, Liam Peyton and Balint Pakozdi had the opportunity to represent the Leeds Knights at Middleton Primary School's Aspirations Day.

They showed the children the world of professional ice hockey in England through discussions about their careers and shared memories of their own from playing the game. And took some of their equipment to show the children up close.

Peyton said: “I was extremely happy to be apart of Aspirations Day at Middleton Primary School.
"Hockey has played such a big role in my life, so having the opportunity to share the game with the next generation here in England meant a lot to me.
"I’m hopeful that the students were able to learn a little bit about the sport and more importantly were inspired to chase their biggest dreams whether in professional sport or elsewhere.”

The children and staff from Middleton Primary School also attended a school skate with the Knights the week prior at Planet Ice Leeds.
Ahead of the first-leg of the National Cup Final against the Sheffield Steeldogs the Knights players took to the ice in a learn-to-skate session with the children running drills and testing their balance on the ice.

We had a great time at the school visit and a massive thank you to Middleton Primary School for having us!
