We are delighted to recognise the great work of our Title Sponsors - Morley Glass - in their innovative recycling scheme that is leading the way in the glass and glazing industry!

The Knights have had a long-standing relationship with Morley Glass and their support and advocacy has been much appreciated by all the team here in “The Castle!”. Yet it is their commitment to matters away from the ice that we want to celebrate and showcase.

In collaboration with industry partners Saint-Gobain, Morley Glass have created a unique scheme to recycle old, end-of-life double glazing that saves resources, has a positive environmental impact and also provides financial support for good causes.

We of course are not surprised by the success of such an initiative that has such positive outcomes, as the driver behind the partnership is the inspirational Ian Short, Managing Director of Morley Glass, and ‘corporate ambassador’ for the Knights!

Ian Short, Managing Director of Morley Glass, said:

“Reflecting Leeds Knights’ vision to create a thriving community, Morley Glass are very focused on developing and supporting people across the wider area, which extends across Yorkshire and beyond. One of the most effective ways we can do this is through our glass recycling scheme, which generates money for our GreenVision fund – this then provides easily accessible financial support to help local schools, charities and other dedicated groups and individuals working hard to improve their local communities.”
