The Morley Glass Leeds Knights will celebrate last season’s Play-Off Championship success in front of the home crowd on Friday night, as the club’s championship banner is raised at The Castle ahead of the opening game of the 2026/27 league season.
The Knights lifted the 2025/26 Play-Off Championship trophy in Coventry last season, completing a memorable campaign and bringing silverware back to Leeds.
Now, the achievement will take its place in the rafters at Planet Ice, Leeds, with the Play-Off Champions banner set to be unveiled before the Knights face the Hull Seahawks in the first league game of the new season.
It will be a special moment for the players, staff and supporters who were part of last season’s success — and a chance for the entire Knights family to celebrate the achievement together.
The journey to championship glory saw the Knights overcome the Sheffield Steeldogs in a dramatic Play-Off Semi-Final, winning 3-2 to book their place in the final.
The Knights then faced the Seahawks in the Play-off Final returned home as Play-Off Champions.
On Friday, that success will be permanently represented inside The Castle.
The banner will serve as a reminder of what this group achieved last season — and the standards they will be looking to maintain as they begin the defence of their title.
After a summer of preparation and a busy pre-season, the Knights will finally get their league campaign underway in front of their home supporters.
Come and see the Play-Off Champions banner raised at The Castle and be there as the 2026/27 season begins.
