The Morley Glass Leeds Knights are delighted to confirm the arrival of American forward, #7 Bailey Conger.

Bailey joins us having spent the 22/23 season with the Knoxville Ice Bears in the SPHL, where he finished the season the 5th top goal scorer in the league and had the 10th highest Points Per Game, playing in 44 games, scoring 25 goals, and adding 28 assists to his points tally of 53.

Prior to last season’s stint in the SPHL, Bailey had great success in the ECHL, icing in 37 games for the Kansas City Mavericks, grabbing 11 goals and picking up 9 assists for just over 0.5PPG!

Bailey comes in at 6’1” and 88kg, he’s a right-handed shot with the ability to play up the middle and on the wing – and the best news is that he’s jumping straight into the lineup for our next home game!

Head Coach Ryan Aldridge is excited about this pick-up, especially with it being a couple of months into the season – “I am excited to get Bailey into our line up, We need both our top two lines firing every night and Bailey will help with that.
He is hungry to get here and get started and I am sure he will have an instant impact on the ice.”

We caught up with Conger on his arrival as well  - “I’m thrilled to join this already talented Leeds team, my offensive skill set and big body will make a difference on the ice.”
