After the dust has settled following an incredibly successful season – on and off the ice, all of us here at the Morley Glass Leeds Knights would like to send a special thanks to all of you that have been involved with us this past 8 months.

Firstly, to the fans, your unwavering support this season has been nothing short of tremendous and you are truly at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for joining us on this amazing journey called the Planet Ice NIHL National Division 2022-23 and we are so glad that you were there to join us as we lifted the League trophy at home on Sunday 26^th March and lifting the Playoff trophy in Coventry just over a week ago.

We’ve got to experience some brilliant moments this season, with the massive turnout on two separate occasions as we returned home after being crowned champions, several sell-out crowds at The Castle, some amazing events with our Supporters Club including our End of Season Awards Night on Friday and many, many more! This season our Supporters Club officially launched and it has been a resounding success. From skating with the players, to our Awards Night, all the things they do on a match night and everything in between they managed to raise more than £80,000 – a massive amount of money and effort that deserves to be recognised.

To our Volunteers, everything you do on a match night and the time you give to the club is massively appreciated and our match night experience wouldn’t be what it is without you, whether you’re part of the Stream Team, Competition Sellers, Stage Crew, Goal Judge or more, thank you!

And to the team, we played every single game we possibly could’ve, reaching the finals of both cup competitions and every game was as big as the next, as we fought to become League Champions – locked in a title race with the MK Lightning and Peterborough Phantoms. Every single player gave 110% every time we stepped onto the ice, never taking a night off and were all an important piece of history as the Leeds Knights did something special in just our second season!

In addition to the team you see on the ice, we’d like to thank our off-ice team, thank you to all the staff, from our coaches to our physio & our equipment manager.
