The Leeds Knights can today confirm that defenseman Jordan Griffin will remain with the Knights for the 22-23 season!

The retention of Griffin’s services was high on the list of Head Coach Ryan Aldridge’s priorities, as Jordan’s return solidifies an already strong returning core from the 21-22 season.

On bringing Jordan back, Head Coach Ryan Aldridge commented – “Jordan’s a great defensive talent and I’m glad to have him back for a second year, he’s still young and I think he’s got a lot of potential. He’s got a lot of things that I look for in a D-man and I think Jordan’s only going to improve during his time in Leeds.”

Jordan iced in 35 games in first season with the Knights, as he found himself side-lined by a couple of unfortunate injuries. However, Jordan bounced back and made a solid return towards the end of the 21-22 season, and he can’t wait to be back for another year in the Blue and Yellow!

We caught up with Jordan regarding his return – “I’m really excited to be back for a second year, obviously last year didn’t go to plan with all the injuries I had -But I’m hoping to have a better season this year and show what I can do. Ryan’s put together a great team so far and I can’t wait to get started this September!”
