A quarter of the way into the 2023-24 season, the Morley Glass Leeds Knights are overjoyed to be able to announce the retention of our Captain #12 Kieran Brown as he puts pen to paper for the 2024-25 season!

Kieran has been a part of the Knights since its inception, so far leading us to two Cup Finals, the 2022-23 League Title and the 2022-23 Playoff Trophy – and he’s going to be a part of the team through 2024-25!

On the ice and off the ice Kieran has been instrumental in the success of the team and what we have come to be, with Head Coach Ryan Aldridge thrilled to be keeping KB12 at LS11 for an additional year – “It’s great to have Kieran back for another year. I have enjoyed working with him the last two years and watching him grow and mature as a person, player and a leader. He is a massive part of our club. He is an incredible young man and a very special player.”

Words don’t do Kieran Brown’s significance justice, as he boasts some incredible stats and honours from his time in Leeds so far. Kieran is the all-time Knights leader for: Games played with 145, Goals with an incredible 163 and assists with 161, for an absolutely astonishing 324 points, as well as picking up several accolades since his arrival at “The Castle!” – Young Player of the Year, two-time League Player of the year, back-to-back League Top Scorer (Goals and Points), two-time NIHL First All-Star Team, topped off with leading the team to the League and Playoff double in the 22-23 season as Captain.

Despite the personal stat lines, Kieran has been quite vocal about his team-first mindset and how the team winning is the most important thing, on his contract extension, we caught up with KB12 – “I’m really excited to have signed for another year with the Knights and I can’t wait to call The Castle home for another year, there’s no place like it!”
