Leeds Knights Visit Churchill Barracks Ahead of Special Remembrance Fixture
The Morley Glass Leeds Knights have paid a special visit to members of 217 Transport Squadron at Churchill Barracks in Leeds ahead of the club’s Remembrance Day fixture this weekend.
The visit provided an opportunity for players to meet members of the Armed Forces and show their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of serving military personnel.
The visit forms part of the club’s preparations for a particularly special fixture, which will see the Leeds Knights come together with the local military community to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed for their country.
As part of the pre-match proceedings, members of 217 Transport Squadron, alongside representatives from the Royal British Legion, will join the Leeds Knights players on the ice for a special ceremony.
Fans are encouraged to join the Leeds Knights for this special afternoon of remembrance when they take on the Bristol Pitbulls on Sunday 8th November 2026. Doors open at 15:15, with the face-off at 16:15, and supporters are asked to be in their seats in good time to take part in the pre-match ceremony and pay their respects alongside the players, members of 217 Transport Squadron and the Royal British Legion.
Tickets are available now, and we look forward to seeing you there as we come together to honour those who have served.
